screensavers

Sorry to bother, but...

I just upgraded to Windows XP Home Edition from Win 98SE. I tried to bring over some old screensavers to the new computer, but can't get them to work. One had an error message saying it needed VB40032.dll so I downloaded and installed that and it's now working OK. However, the others, such as Microsoft's screensavers (eg Leonardo da Vinci, Space, etc.) only give me a black screen. What do I need to do? I installed the .scr and the .dll files for the screensavers in C/Windows/System32. Help

You have reached a mile stone that many people can't

, not very many people can say I have upgraded to XP from 98 and the only problem I have is the screen saver... I'm not kidding you... so with all that said, I would suggest to look for Screen savers that were built for Windows XP not Windows 98.......you know what they say, quit while you are ahead.
