quick launch bar disappear

Hi people,

I've got an annoying problem.
I had some spyware on my pc, so I used Ad-aware to delete it.

Now, everytime when I start windows XP, the quick launch bar is disappeared, so I have to turn it on again. But when I turn my PC off (or reboot), the quicklaunch bar is disappeared again.

And there's another weird problem. On my keyboard (microsoft wireless desktop elite) I've got buttons to turn up and down the volume. Now when I press the button once, the volume goes up/down 3 times instead of once (so it goes much faster).

How can I fix these problems?

for issue number 1 (Disapearing quicklaunch) do the following:
1) Go to Start > RUN and type in "regedit" and click ok to proceed.

2) In Registry Editor (Start > Run... > regedit), navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

3. Find "the Userinit" key
4. it probably contains:

%system32%\wsaupdater.exe,

where %system32% represents the path to the System32 folder. For example, C:\Windows\System32

5. Instead of wsaupdater.exe, the data should contain userinit.exe,. Using the example above, change it to:

C:\Windows\System32\userinit.exe,

Do not forget to add the comma at the end!!!

6. Close the Registry Editor and reboot your computer.
