Talking Duel booting

Hi Guys
I have a Evaluation kit for win xp 64 bit edition
If I want to install win xp home on a C drive, and Win XP 64 bit edition on a D Drive,
Am I right in thinking I just format the D drive and install the 64 bit OS on the D drive leaving the current OS (win xp) on the C drive, then when its installed and reboot, the system will ask me which OS i want to use?
Im going to be using an amd 64 chipset and board
The win xp home will be on the IDE harddrive using ata 33,
and the 64 bit on the Sata hard drive
Regards and thanks for any help.
