Question Computer Reboots when Running Anything

I have a desktop PC with Windows XP Home Edition, Asus A7N8X-X Motherboard, Asus Radeon 9200 se video card, sony dvd player/cd burner. I built the computer myself in a class at school. The other kids that built a computer do not have the problem I will describe, and as far as I know, all of our computers are the same except that I have a dvd player/ cd burner as opposed to a cd player, and I have no partitions (the problem began before I erased my partitions as a posible solution). Most of the other kids also installed XP to their computers.

Here is the problem: When I try to run a game, like The Sims, the computer will boot up the game fine with no errors. But then a couple minutes of playing the game, it will either freeze forcing me to reboot, reboot automatically, or shut down the game all together with no warning what so ever. This isn't the only time this happens, it happens when I try to play anything that is continuous, ie. internet games, movies, cds, music, all other cd games, and anything else that is like a game or movie. Sometimes, when the computer starts to restart, a blue screen will appear and have small white text at the top right saying "Beginning Dump of Physical Memory." This causes the computer to just sit and do nothing (that I can tell) and forces me to press the restart button.

Here is what I have tried: I took my computer to a local store to be fixed, and they didn't know what to do other than tell me to get rid of the partitions. So I did this and I had to buy a copy of Windows XP (I only had the update and no original boot disk for the new computer). I first tried, but was only able to get rid of one partition, so I found a prgram called Killdisk on the internet and I loaded it onto a boot floppy disk. This seemed to have worked, I now have no partitions or information. I then installed the full version of Windows XP Home Edition with no problems. I tried to play games, music, movies, and cds but again, they all crashed, froze or restarted my computer with the ocasional "Beginning Dump of Physical Memory" screen.

I don't konw what to do now and I don't even know where to start with what the problem is. I am willing to try anything that even has the slightest chance of working. Thank-you sooo much for even reading this (I know it is long, but it is everything that I have ever done and I would greatly appreciate your help!! Thanks again!!!

Control panel > System properties > Advanced > Start up & recovery > uncheck "Automatically restart" > click "O.K."
This should allow an error message to be displayed instead of restarting. Copy down that message and repost.
