access denied - help

this isn't about admin rights or not. since i am the admin and i am the only person who operate this computer.
one day i browsed my 250GB hd and found this message.
in this directory, i could not access any of those threee folder. plus Battle Royale, if you look closely BR doesn't have filesize next to it while others does. Yeah, the others like Hana-bi is viewable.

See if the process in the MS KB article, How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP works on the three problem folders.

I'd do a complete system virus scan before trying anything else. If you don't have an up-to-date AV programs installed, there are free scans online at Panda and Housecall.

If you don't want to go that route or if you've already scanned and the system is clean, you can use the freeware MoveOnBoot which will delete the files and folders you tell it to the next time you reboot.
