Completely Stumped

ok i have a toshiba satellite A10 series and am running windows xp home. i have a virus and i believe it is a spybot and it is not letting me open up antivirus, task manger, etc so i tried to restart in safe mode but the virus is not letting me open up msconfig long enough to restart in safe mode so if anyone noes how to help me then plz help

why are you using msconfig to start in safe mode? Tap your F8 key to get into safe mode. Spyware can't be removed uness your in safe mode so run all your eradication and detection progs in safe mode. Here's a list, dont stop at one as others will pick up what others have missed.

There's a program called Spy Sweeper from Webroot and I highly recommend it to anyone..You can d/l a free demo version from Webroot's site..It will do a total scan for all traces of spyware that may be on your system and will quarantine it as well..
