Time prob

My time seems to stop everytime i shut down my com.i dunno wat happen to it. previously it was ok until i formatted my com last week. My computer clock just stop at the time when i shut down my com....hmm..can any1 tell me wat prob i m having?

Sounds like your CMOS Battery may be dead.

Go into the System BIOS and check the time in there, if that is wrong it is probably time for a new battery.

the weird thing is that i just bought my motherboard.a new motherboard...hmm..but i vil check that..thanks alot..

This happens a lot, the battery could be several years old before it is fitted to the Mobo.

Let us know the outcome.
