Installing Xp Home

i tried to install win XP into a computer and it gets to 95% then says it cant copy the files after that point whats the problem?? HELP ME PLEASE!!

disk could be dirty(finger prints) or scratched...also if you have customized any bios settings you may want to load setup defaults to get it to install.

well i had to change one thing on the bios.. had to make it boot from disk.. that was all i changed though.. and about the disk.. if it isnt scratched or dirty etc.. what else could the problem be? thanks alot for your help by the way

well can anyone besides Play_The_0dds gimmie help or even guesses? on what may be wrong?
