I have a windows xp home edition with 128MB ram memory and im wondering if it is possible to remove a 128 mb ram memory stick from a windows 98 and install it onto my win xp?

I dont understand you question it dont make much sense. Are you asking if you can use ram from one computer and put it in another, well it depends on your motherboard, there many differnt types of ram. pc2100 pc2700 pc3200ect..... It should say on the ram card itself what type it is. so if your 2 ram cards match up your set to go. ***make sure your computer is off when adding hardware. windows xp will automaticly detect the ram added. hope this helps GL
