How is the internet put together? Are we all just a big network? This question ive always been looking for an answer for but found no luck. Is it possible for the whole internet to crash. or is there a supercomputer 1252 miles deep in the earth with a pentium 987 4.8 million gigaherts processer and 569 billion gigabytes of ram, like bill gates bat cave or something. whaaaaaa gatta get back to reality now.. ty

but i belive the internet doesnt reside on any one large computer, it resides on many many many different computers all around the world, connected through other computers ect. every website is another computer that you can connect to through a series of wires and computers/routers ect...how? ....i have absolutely no clue maybe someone else has more insight then me? all i do know...is i really want one of those P-987 4.8 billion Ghz compooter!!! haha
