XP Network Quiz: Logon Failure

Hi kidz,

Someone posted earlier today regarding this issue, but the solutions proposed don't fully work with this little network...

Here's the setup:

- One Dell XP Pro
- One Toshiba Satellite XP Home
- One HP XP Home

All networked thru Netgear hub.

All machines ping each other.

All machines can access each other's shared folders

Problem: The Toshiba and HP cannot access the Dell (logon failure: you may not have permissions...) if the HP/Toshiba user account has a PASSWORD !!!!

All machines have the same users+passwords configured (the HP and Toshiba have no password). Firewalls have been disabled. Permissions (XP Pro) on the Dell have been given for all users. And security settings (Folder properties) allow all users on the Dell's shared files. Local security policies have been abled (local logon)...

For security reasons, I'd like all valid user accounts to have a password...

Someone has a bright idea ???
