Can't get disc cleanup to work anymore!
Hi. I am running on a Windows XP Pro Version 2002, Service Pack 1. My computer is a Dell Dimension 4600 with a Pentium 4. My problem is that all of a sudden my disc cleanup no longer works when it used to work just fine. The disc cleanup utility tells me that it is scanning files, etc., and freezes up after 3% is completed. When the utility is shut down and reopened, it doesn't start over, it stays at 3% like it was never even closed. I tried to follow the links to Microsoft from other places in this website that address this type of problem, but those links say the info I'm looking for is no longer there. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thank so much for your help!
