Password protected problem

I purchased a desktop at a charity sale with no accompanying disks or info. It has WinXP Pro and was home networked and is Win password protected. I have no software to re-install with, my personal computer came with only recovery disks (WinXP). I can't afford new software (OS). Any suggestions?

90% of users forget to set Administrator passsword while installing Win XP, I hope they forget it for your computer

Press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at windows logon, enter Administrator as username and hit OK to logon, once logon go to Control Panel--->User Accounts to change password of the desired account
