Messanger 6.2 and privacy ?

I have xp and its a shared computer we all use at home. I put messanger on and started using it some time ago but if someone comes along behind me and turn on messanger they have the option of signing in as someone else from the list or signing on as me which the later requires no password. Is there some seeting that requires a password for all users so the kids will stay out of my list ? I hate the thought of having to go back to 98 just for this simple glitch. TIA folks.

Mark

Type "control userpasswords2" into Start > Run, without the quotes, noting the space between l and u and hit Ok.

Click Manage Passwords under the Advanced tab, highlight the relevant user/s and click Remove and Close. Ok your way out.

Any User using Messenger, after you have performed the above, will need to type their User Name and password in order to log on. There will no longer be a list of Users, so long as you have removed them using the aforementioned procedure.........
