Small Network problem please help

i run a small network of only 10 xp computers plus the server using XP Pro. Sometimes i have a student working on one of the workstations and they close down the computer or restart it to play a game. When they do the workstation wont reconnect to the server believing that all ten connections are already in use. I use XP Pro becasue it comes with ten connections and to buy the server 2003 for my small operation isnt viable.
I need a way to clear connections when they have been disconnected and restarted. Can anybody help me. On some days i have to totally restart everything including the server to free up the connection again and this is a really impractical approach.[color=blue][b]

This may be what you're looking for:

"Any file, print, named pipe, or mail slot session that does not have any activity is automatically disconnected after the AutoDisconnect time has expired; the default for the AutoDisconnect time is 15 minutes. When the session is disconnected, one of the ten connections becomes available so that another user can connect to the Windows XP system. Therefore, lowering the AutoDisconnect time can help to reduce some of the problems that users may encounter with the ten-connection limit or the five-connection limit on a system that is not used heavily for server purposes.

You can configure the AutoDisconnect time by running the following command from a command prompt:
net config server /autodisconnect:time_before_autodisconnect

Specify the time in minutes."

You might want to change the autodisconnect time to a shorter interval so you don't have to wait the 15 minutes for a connection to free up.
