NEED HELP --> computer freezing randomly!

i am having the same problem, i have already stopped playing counter strike, and other games which are graphics intensive and now have resorted to a online low intensive game called "runescape" yet my computer still freezes, and this is very hard to work with since i am in the middle of the game and it freezes which makes me vulnerable.

the computer freezes most of the time, but even restarts randomly i don't know how to fix this problem, help me tell you what specs i got i have no idea where to check

Hello guys, this is my first post ^_^

I am having the same problem as the majority of these people, i have restrained myself from playing greatly graphics intensive games like Counter Strike and such just so my computer won't freeze or reset.

Now i have resorted to a much less intensive online adventure game called "Runescape" but yet my computer has been freezing i have tried to keep the detail on low and try to make it that i don't demand much but it still happens. This is a major problem because it freezes anytime while im in the game and this is not a good thing, anyone who plays this game would know why. The computer mostly freezes but also sometimes resets itself please tell me how to fix this?

Ive had the same problem, so i went over my computer and found out that my chipset fan wasnt running (The small one on the motherboard).
I fixed that but the chip might have been damaged since it froze up on me again after i fixed it.
If it was damaged, does that mean i have to buy a new motherboard ?

I don't realy know what u mean by freeze... My problem is, and it only happens when i'm playing on the net, the monitor goes off, sound goes nuts, keyboard doesnt work, but pc still seems to be running smoothly! I dont have any new hardware, n i have coolers in every board n working just fine! Plz someone help me, or my pc will get even worst, cause i'll break it!!!!
