Post "half life" port f0rwarding

"To Play Half-Life Through Firewall / Proxy

For only advanced users and/or network administrators. I will not be able to support those who just got into networking, as it is a nuisance. Here are the details how to get Half-Life working:

Open the following for:
Half-Life Authenticating Server: TCP 7002 -> half-life.east.won.net:7002

Half-Life WON Server: TCP 6003 -> half-life.east.won.net:6003

Half-Life Server Master: UDP 27010 -> half-life.east.won.net:27010

Half-Life Game Server (normal): UDP 27015 -> ip.address.of.game.server:27015

Half-Life Game Server (other): UDP 270xx -> ip.address.of.game.server:270xx "

CAN SOME! EXPLAIN THIS TO ME? I dont get thid kind of techinical gibberish. thx for any help.

(me happy to sad)

Need more info:
Are you wanting to host a game?
using a firewall (which one)?
connected to a router which connects to your broadband modem (make and model)?
what are the symptoms?

Are you able to play other online games?

what is your modem firewall (make/ver)? you may have to configure it to allow those ports thru.

check your system tray. if you have another firewall running, you should find it there

To play game online you should disable WinXP firewall and firewall of your Speadstream 5200. To manage your Speadstream firewall refer this link below
