SP2 Default Visual Effects Settings?

Does anyone know where I can find (or be willing to tell me) the default visual effects settings that come with SP2?

I downloaded and installed SP2 w/o a hitch and have been very pleased overall.

After the install I was looking around for any changes that were automatically made during the install, such as to my custom sized paging file, etc.

I noticed that, by default, SP2 apparently uses a custom setting for visual effects. I liked the quick and snappy visual appearance, but inadvertanly erased the settings by clicking on one of the other options.

Thanks in advance to the kind and generous soul who helps me out.

Jed

Where do I find this setting?

Then I'll be able to tell you this default setting.

Thanks for Responding

Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Advanced(tab)/Performance - Settings/Visual Effects

After I installed SP2 I noticed that the visual effects page had been set to custom and only a handful (4 or 5) boxes were checked.

If you have installed SP2 and not changed your visual effects settings, I would appreciate knowing what yours are set to.

Grassy Ass (phonetically spanish for thanks),

The Let Windows Choose is selected and all boxes below are checked OK!

Hope this helps.

Thanks Kyliefan001.

After posting it occured to me that maybe the settings were changed through a utility program like TweakXP. I have never changed the settings myself, but managed to screw around with them long enough to mostly repeat how things were before. Obviously not related to SP2.

Appreciate your help.
