computer problems return

I posted awhile back about my mouse double clicking or skipping two pages at a time along with my Start icon opening up its contents and flashing rapidly. I removed a Logitech mouse driver that I had installed and that seemed to correct the problem. Now these problems have returned and I removed a Keyboard Hijacker called Agent H.dll @ C.Programs\RFA files. Anyone know what RFA files are? I also removed the Dimersting Trojan. I went to System Restore and returning to August 7th was the best I could do. I went to run a complete restore on my computer but my computer would not even acknowledge that the restore disk was in the computer and just reloaded norma XP programs like a normal laoding. Any help is appreciated in advance.

Whenever you remove a Trojan or Keyboard Hacker you should turn the system restore off first, then only turn it back on after restarting your computer or you just end up reinfecting yourself.

restore

Thanks for the info. My Pest Patrol caught the Hacker tool and my AV caught the Dimersting Trojan. They automatically delete these problems before I am even aware that the problems were there. Usually programs like Spybot or Adaware ask you if you want to delete the problems first. Is there anyway that I can change my programs to ask before deleting so that I can turn off the restore.

To turn the SR off go to Control Panel/System/System Restore/Check Turn Off SR/Hit Apply

Do the same to turn it on again.
