question marks

i have installed a russian software. most of the menues appear as question marks. how do i change it? i got windows xp
the default lang of my xp is English.

i believe u must install a russian language pack so that ur OS can read the russian alphabet and even translate it..

windows xp is, by default, not bundled with this language..

im afraid you may have to surf the net for downloads..

Go to Control Panel>Regional and Language options>Language tab>Details button>Add button and add support for Russian there.

Will that work even if the version of XP that they have does not include the "Russian Language Pack"?

Oh...no, you need the language pack...which you can get from the Windows update site.
