Missing second hard drive after reinstallation

Missing second hard drive after reinstallation

After reinstalling windows xp i have only one hard drive available.

Does anyone know how to get the second hard drive working?

go to your control panel, switch to classic view(if not already) double click administrative tools, then computer management, now click storage in the main window, now disk management. if your drive shows up as new/unformatted you can create and format the drive by right clicking it and using the menu options.if it does not show up here you will need to check your bios to see if the drive post, if it does not may have to check the jumper settings, ribbon cable, or have the drive checked.
