Dsl

is there any way to tweak my dsl speed? b/c when i start a download of any sort, it starts out really fast for about a few seconds, then goes down to regular speed which is about 60 kb/s
And i dont have anything else running in the background...

Please help thanks

This is normal.

Dont rely on Windows's timings to be accurate.
There is a possibility that your ISP is slowing you down. Although you have a 512k service, your line may be capable of going up to 2mb for example and it is your ISP forcing you to go at that speed.
