try this..
1. click Start > Run..
2. type '
regedit' (w/o the quotes) to open Registry Editor..
3. just like how you do in WIndows Explorer, on the left pane,
expand these keys (they look like folders) and corresponding sub-keys in the following order..
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
Policies
Explorer
4. when you are inside the Explorer key, on the right pane, find any of the names listed below:
NoToolbarsOnTaskbar
NoToolbarCustomize
NoBandCustomize
5. if you find any, if not all, of them, DELETE them..
but make sure you DONT DELETE any other names not listed above because more problems could occur to your Windows..
6. close Registry Editor..
7. reboot or log-off for the change to take effect.
so thats it! hope that solves the problem..
