each time a user logs on I get an error message that says "F-StopW (open VDD) , The system cannot find the file specified." It then logs the user on and everything seems alright. what do I need to do to get rid of this message popping up each time.

Do you or did you have F-Prot Antivirus installed?
This is probably causing your problems you might want to try another virus scanner.
C:\Program Files\FSI\F-Prot\F-StopW.EXE
