i get an error message saying this:

This system is shutting down. Please save all work in progress and log off. Any unsaved changes will be lost. This shutdown was initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Time before shutdown: 00:00:03(seconds)

....and then it gives me a reason...and it has something to do with an ip address??
i dont know what it says because of the 3 secs it gives me to shutdown and restart.

Maybe i should try booting up in safe mode or disable internet connection?

try updating your windows software using the Microsoft Windows Update site by downloading and installing some new critical updates..

follow the prompts..

afterwhich, if you have a third-party antivirus program installed, update its virus definition list from their website..

reboot your PC to safe mode..
run a full system virus scan..
