XP Home black screen on Administration Login

Hello reader,

recently i have just build a new computer.
Asus k8v deluxe SE
Amd 64 3400
2x DW raptors 36gig Raid - 0
windows xp sp1a OEM - no tech support

One day i came home turned on my computer and clicked on NVDVD (NVIDIA DVD player) and my computer froze. I reboot my computer then it says something something with safe mode and a list. I didnt go to "SAFE MODE" I selected "START XP NORMAL".
I logged into my windows account and then a box popped up
"Windows xp cannot save something registry something" & many other boxes like that. I had to reboot my comp again because i only saw those box pop ups. Then came the blue screen, at the bottom of the screen it had some letters and long numbers. I did not know what to do so i reboot again. This time it would log into windows desktop but showed nothing but windows wallpaper. So i reboot again and tried to "Repair windows xp" but then it asked for "Administration password" I tried typing in my Windows login account but it didnt work. I skipped the repair crap and went onto installing windows again. It installed and XP worked. The next morning I turned on my comp but once again the blue screen popped up with the long letters and numbers, my comp auto reboot itself and no more blue screen. It went to windows loading, and all it did was load. So i reboot again this time it finished loading windows but the screen was black, there was "no Administration login." so i tried once more, turned on comp then a screen poped up, it was XP scanning for some errors, and it showed a list of thing it was deleting, it was too fast for me to read. The windows auto reboot, it went to loading xp but it wont go to login accounts, I only see a black screen and you cant do anything but reset or Manual poweroff. Can anybody help please?

Please choose one:
A. Your Hard Drives are dead, sorry kid.
B. Reformat them (but how)
C. (replys)
D. .....

Have you tried safe mode
Getting the errors written down especially if it was a filename or application or even the error code might give a little more info.

The missing 4.5GB is filled with parity and ECC data to allow the entire system to run if one drive fails

god. i can't believe i just registered to refute your reply.

you must be one idiot who speaks out of his ass and doesn't know what's coming out.

ECC is for memory only.

Do you know what Raid0 is. I don't think you do. There is no parity in raid0 or raid1.

The 'reason' he's missing any GB of listed information is the disparity between how windows accounts for GB and how WD accounts for their GB. Some systems will actually do the full 1024bx1024k for a MB.
Thus the difference in the numbers.
