2nd plea for help!

About a few days after I downloaded SP2 windows update, I started having problems with my Internet Explorer browser on BOTH of my computers and it seems to be getting worse. When I click on certain webpages, it opens for a second then jumps to "Page cannot be displayed" Also I noticed when I do try to open my home page on Yahoo, it flashes over and over like it is trying to download but then it goes to the "Page cannot be displayed" Help I am getting so frustrated! Is there someone who is familiar with this problem who can tell me how I can fix it?

Have you tried connecting without using the router just one pc?

Hello again!!! and thank you for your reply.

Funny thing just happened. I unplugged the ethernet cord from my router and plugged the modem directly into the computer instead (like you suggested) to see if I was having the same problem. Well for one thing, I was not getting any connection when I did that, so I plugged my router back in and low and behold! So far, it looks like that problem may have disappeared! I am guessing it must have had something to do with the router? I don't know how it happened because I plugged the router back in again but now that problem looks like it is gone. So far?
What do you think happened?
