Unhappy XP RAID problem

Just moved to XP Pro from ME and am having a problem with my RAID array. XP see's my Iwiil RAID SIDE 100 controller, has found the current driver and reports to be working properly, but I can not see my drives attached to it nor do they appear in the device manager. Upon restarting the computer,it boots but will not launch XP. I have tried connecting the drives post startup and rescanning..still no drives. Any ideas?
