Try going to the manufacturers site (of the device, drive, etc,) and downloading the driver file. Save it to "My Documents" [write the file name down] so you can navigate back to it. If I remember correctly, you can then go back to the Device Manager and tell it to look for a new driver in the location you specify [the file in "My Documents"].
There is also a way to search for a Driver at Windows Update but for now I won't delve into that.
