stuck in standby (sp2 problem)

I have just installed service pack 2 on my HP Laptop, its a pentium 4 3.06 mhz
512 gb RAM
60gb HD

since installing it, when ever i try to come out of standby mode it just gets frozen, dosent even make it to the password screen just freezes, i have to hold the power button down and reboot to get it working again..

anyone else hear of this??

This article is for win2000 but but it's probably the same problem
