Windows Media Player cannot play the video stream because of a problem with your vide

Hi there you kind people, wonder if you can help me with my latest problem!
When i try to play my Guitar tuition disc, all i get is a message saying that windows media player is unable to play the folowing due to a problem with your video card?
i can see a very clear picture on the screen but no sound!
So i asked for web help and i got this. This is the code for my problem C00D10BD? i have Vinyl AC'92 codec combo driver installed. don't ask if i understand because i dont.
i doesn't play any dvd's since the service pack 2.
I am on Xp !

If you are referring to DVD-videos, WMP9 does not have built-in support for playing them - and SP2 does not change that. You have to download a MPEG2 decoder add-on for WMP, or install a 'standalone' player like WinDVD or PowerDVD which will also enable WMP to play DVD-videos as well.
