Dragonmist Look under "Main Circuit Board b" it should have Board: followed by a group a letters and figures. Mine looks like this
Board: ECS K7S5A Pro this is the make and model of your motherboard. You have found all the other information needed.

Go to this link to download the latest Graphic Driver for your board

http://download.sis.com/download_ste...os=4&x=22&y=11

Follow the instructions for uninstalling the old driver and installing the new one.

This grandma finally threw in the towel. The graphic driver download didn't work. Checking on Google about this update, it is apparently a common problem. Solution - Comet. I got an HP tower with modern flatscreen. Back in business. Thanks to all you peeps for advice. At least I know where to come if I need help. The new PC is the same spec. as the old one, but it has Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics [whatever that might be. ]
The flatscreen monitor is great, but I had to reset it to 800 X 600. I couldn't read it at 1024 X 768 even with my strongest specks on.
Now clearing half the garbage HP put on that I don't want and don't need. Bye for now - One happy Dragon.
