WELCOME SCREEN HELp!

eloo,
I was using my laptop with XP Home on last night happily and then i turned it off, when i turned it on this morning it gets to the welcome screen but my acccounts have dissappeared! I cant get on at all ....has anyone got any idea's? Thanks

Press control>alt>delete twice then log on as administrator.

When your in check the accounts in the control panel.

If that doesn't work (as it's home) hold F8 as it's booting up and go into safe mode.
See if you can sort it from in there.

thankyou! the ctrl alt n delete works and it gets me in but then i cant get onto user accounts...it says windows wont let me

What is the exact error? If I was you I'd scan for virus', adware and spyware.

If you right click on my computer, then click manage.

Then click on local users and groups and expand users.
And see if there are any users there.
If there are not any users then create one.
Right click and select new user.
