Window Xp And Gdisk

Can someone help

I am trying to use GDISK that came on the Norton Systemworks 2004 disk but it keeps saying within windows and DOS it cannot because the computer has NT on it

How can i get around that

Help as i need to partition my external Hard disk

Copy GDisk.exe to a floppy disk, start the computer from that bootable floppy disk, and run GDisk from the floppy disk. What you are 'asking' XP to do, is self-terminate in effect by trying to use GDisk from within Windows. You could say that GDisk is similar to FDisk, but with a few 'extras' thrown in.
