wupdater.exe

how do you remove stuff from your registry can you just delete it? I had a problem caused by wupdater.exe (tons of popups) I removed it with the virus scan but it still shows on the start menu and in the registry. How can I get it out of there? Still getting tons of popups

Yes you can just delete something out of the Registry but DO NOT DO IT IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW.

If you do I can tell you right now it will screw up your computer.

Open Registry
1. Start
2. Run
3. Regedit
4. Click My Computer Export, Name it something (store this file in a safe place, this is your registry!!)

Now do get down to the "nitty-gritty"
1.There are serval ways to do this, my personal and favorite way is just doing a search in the registryu
2. CTRL+F
3.Enter the name you think the program is causing this.
4. I cant acuttaly help you but if it sounds like the program delete, otherwise just leave it.
