system restore

My computer for some reason all of a sudden won't perform system restore. I have windows xp. When i select a date it restarts my computer and a message screen appears that says the restore could not be completed. My computer seems to be running normally with no other problems, and i have never disabled system restore. Any thoughts or suggestions??

Is there enough disk space allocated to system restore?
In sys restore.....settings...there is a setting to allow more or less disk space...It may be set too low????

I am sorry but I used to have the same problem. I have never isolated the error and where it was coming from. But if you are despearte just do a nice clean format then reinstall. The disk space might be low, but I kinda doubt it.

Your best bet might be doing a fresh install. Im sorry I cant help you further.
