Removing Startup Items through MSCONFIG?
Is there a way to simply remove items, or at least stop them from starting on boot, through the MSCONFIG utility? I tried to uncheck each of the items that I did not want to startup, but then it puts the computer into some diagnostic startup profile. If I turn off the diagnostic, and ask the computer to boot up normally, it re-checks all of the items in the list. I realize that I could use the add/remove programs utility, but I do not necessarily want to remove this software, I just do not want it to start up automatically.
Thanks for any advice, Phinny the Gnome~
