Internet doesn't work after Sp2 install
I just installed Windows xp Sp2 from the automatic update thing. after i installed it, my internet didn't work. I thought it was temporary but it didn't work for a couple days. So I uninstalled SP2 and my internet started working right away. I installed and uninstalled sp2 at least 3 times, and all 3 times it was the same thing. When i look at the network thing at the bottom, it said limited or no network connection. I did ipconfig in cmd and i got the auto configuration ip. When i tried to renew, i didn't work.
My computer is networked to another computer in the house, through linksys wireless router. I installed SP2 on the other computer, and it worked on that one. I'm guessing this is a network problem.
I would be ok with just windows xp, but i play online game and then windows auto updater thing makes it lag for some reason. i made it go away for a while but then it came back, and i can't make it go away again because when i try to click on it, it won't open.
