I don't know if to choose Fat32 or NTFS

Hello

I'm going to install Windows XP professional soon , and I would like to know if do it using FAT32 or NTFS .

What I mean , why is ntfs better ?

I heard something about ntfs supports bigger files , but I never use files bigger than 700 GB .I heard too , that ntfs is safer , but I don't have a net , just my pc , so what I really want to know if my computer will work very fast with ntfs than fat32.

The main reason to use Fat32 , is that I'm going to install Linux in other partition , and it's easier to read/write from one to other partition with FAT32.

Thanks in advance.

Lots of information on FAT32 vs. NTFS on this page.

If none of the benefits of NTFS are of much benefit to you, though, then go with FAT32. It's really a matter of personal preference once you know the differences between the two.
