setting up apple airport express on xp

I've just brought an apple airport express base station so I can play itunes on my stereo but I'm getting kind of frustrated trying to set it up. I've followed the setup but the little yellow light keeps flashing on and off.

I use a netgear adsl dg824m modem gateway into my pc.

Does anyone have any ideas?The apple support site is useless.
