Windows network setup drives me nuts

Have 3 PCs scattered around the house. Want access to files on each from anywhere. I've set all folders I want to see on all PCs to enable share. Named this network MSHome, which is the default. But when I try to find a PC or a folder I get a message like "you don't have access - see administrator" Well, hell, I'm an Admin on all these machines. Aggrevating to say the least.

Is there a link to something that could walk me through the steps, maybe I've missed something.
