How to disable memory test in boot up

Hello everyone

I have recently upgaded my motherboard and processor to ASUS motherboard and AMD XP3200 processor. I am using XP pro everything is running fine but can anyone tell me how to disable the Memory test on boot up as i have +1 G memory it is taking approx 5 sec to get to this value every time i boot up>

if you enter the bios and you have a load best performance option, try it and see if it sets it for you, if not can you post the model # of your asus board because the setting you ask for may be listed under many different things depending on factors like chipset, bios mfg.,...................

You should be able to make the bios test the ram much quicker. If you know how to access the bios, Look for an option that says "quick post" or something like that. But hey, what do I know? I've never used an amd athlon3200 Processor computer. This is just advice!
