Programs folder opening at startup

Well, the problem is that on startup the Programs folder opens without me knowing why.
I recently installed some Realplayer stuff but I don't think it's those that's causing it, because I had the same problem on my old computer and it happened long after I installed them. Right now I'm on WinXP but my old comp had Win98.
Anyone who knows how to get rid of these problems?

Check your startup folder to see if there's a shortcut to your programs folder in there. To do this open windows explorer and browse to "C:\Documents and Settings\My username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" (assuming C: is your windows drive and replace "My username" with your username). If it's not in there then it may be running via a registry key. The easiest way to look at this info is to download a program like startup control panel (http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml) and see if it's trying to run from there.
