How to fix bad sectors
Your disk has bad sectors (manufacturing faults or dying disk).
Could this be caused by my SuSE being corrupted and would It be fixed by reinstalling SuSE

Download a copy of spinrite and run that on the disk. It does a good job of correcting bad sectors.
