"Ultra Overclocking Memory "?

I need to buy 512 Mb of ram memory and they offered me an
"Ultra Overclocking Memory ", what is that?
What is the difference btwn "Kingston 512MB Non-ECC, CL3 PC3200 DDR 400MHz Memory" and a similar but with PC2700 instead PC3200?
Huge Thanks

ok, lets say your system takes the pc2700 333 fsb ram, if you want to overclock and not burn up the ram chip quickly buy backwards compatible(most ddr is Backwards compatible) ram of atleast the next size up, pc 3200 400 mhz fsb. now you have ram that will not react badly to overclocking. as for things like non-ecc, most home computers will only run non-ecc ram, the ecc(error checking and correction) is usually found on servers.

was just answering the question....
I dont think overclocking is a good idea , voids warrenty and is a pain to keep stable. hardware is cheap enough now it is easy to pick up what you want to run w/o o/c.

i have overclocked, i just dont tell people how,or do it for them because if they dont know how, they dont need to. anyone that overclocks needs to know about cooling and monitor temps and voltages....way more then just increasing the fsb speed and expect it not to give trouble.
the only reason i answered this thread was i have heard sales people tell cutomers about things like Ultra Overclocking Memory and just have to laugh. i have been in circuit city, best buy, comp usa and have heard sales people say things that dont even make sense, or just plain wrong or funny like the "Ultra Overclocking Memory"
when i post here i tend to rant alot, but usually only help people with problems that do not deal with overclocking, customizing, because if they trash it that way, they can fix it or pay to have it fixed. if it is a average person with a glitch, or basic question or odd trouble i am glad to help if i can.
