Hi,
I have win xp he,
I have Firefox thunderbird email program, just like OE,
and I need to reinstall everything,
the question is:

how do I save email messeges and all settings asociated to this email ? I could not find any "export" function.

a good fail safe...make a yahoo email account(free).
http://mail.yahoo.com/?.intl=us
now foward all your mail to the yahoo account which is stored on-line. once you have it all there and see that it is ok, do what you got to do...then foward it back.

Use MozBackup. It's free, simple to use, and also backs up Firefox profiles.
