Safe Mode Administration Problem

I cannot log in to safe mode under the Admin account, although I can with my usual accounts.

It allows me to type in the passcode, and the cursor of the mouse jumps around and I go no where.

Has any one any ideas that I could use to fix this problem?

It's XP Home, so I do not have access to this account in any other manner.

No spyware, no virii.....just no Admin account in Safe Mode. I tried re-setting the passcode, but it made no difference.

tryed to remove password ?
leaving it blank should do it, not sure tho

and u have admin rights?
if so u dont need that admin account,
u should be able to do all u need to from ur own
account

Tried that Joop. It didn't log itself on! And if there is no Admin passcode, there can be problems when XP asks for one, as it expects there to be one.....

ive used both pro and home version without passwords
never had any problems
