windows activation and hanging mouse

Greetings to all

Brief specs:

1. Desktop Intel Pentium 4 processor 2.2;
2. Operating on a fully licensed windows xp pro, Sp2 has also been
also been installed;and
3. MKS and AVG are the installed antivirus software
4. Logitech optical wheel mouse (usb) with installed Logitech mouse driver 9.79

Problems:

1..Attempts were made to have Windows activation done through the internet without registration and each time Microsoft confirmed that I have successful activated my copy of windows. However when the computer was rebooted the system was deactivated and I am required to reactivate it. This sequence of activation and deactivation occurs without end. I would appreciate to receive advice as to how I could permanently activate my copy of Windows before the 30days grace period runs out.

2. Frequently my mouse hanged and to have it working again I have to unplug and replug the usb mouse connection. I should be obliged for any assistance on providing a better alternative solution to void this hanging mouse.
Thank you

Does this mean your using two antivirus programs?

I've heard this can cause all sorts of programs, you only need one anti-virus program and one firewall program.

The best thing to do is ring Microsoft customer support and they will help you register XP.

With the mouse i would try uninstalling it and them reinstalling it. If this does not work, have a look in device manager and check that the mouse is operating properly.

DEVICE MANAGER: Start/Right click on My computer/Select properties/Select hardware and select device manager.

As neil121183 said, If you have 2 AV's running at the same time it can cause problems.
