Not sure if this is an XP problem
I am running XP-Home Edition.
About a week ago, the games that I had installed and played for many months started having a problem.
When starting a game, the initial screen is not in the proper position on the monitor. It is like what ever should be showing is shifted down a quarter of an inch lower than it should be.
The top quarter inch on the monitor is black and the bottom quarter inch does not show.
This is a problem because it affects the playing in some games.
And sometimes (maybe 1 time out of 20 or more tries) when I start a game there is no problem. But, the next time that I try there the same problem again.
This only happens with games.
Could it be a problem with the monitor? HP pavilion f70
