hi again chums.....this time ive d/l mozilla, it asked to be the default browser, i ticked yes.

however, some of my websites when i click on the desktop icon, still open with avant browser.should i remove avant, or is there a fix.

I had the same problem and the only way I could resolve it was to remove Avant completely.

I may have another solution. Click the start button and select "set program access and defaults". Then select custom from drop down menu, and under choose a default browser select mozilla firefox. Click ok.
Did that solve the annoyance?

fraid not ....looks like i will have to uninstall avant,as the previous reply said to do f_p.
